Fearing disruptions to supply chains, retaliation by other countries, recession, and inflation because of the President's tariffs, traders sold trillions of dollars worth of stocks today.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped nearly 1,700 points, while the S&P 500 dropped 274 points.
President Trump, responding to concerns about the tariffs he imposed, said that their roll out was “going really well.”
