Hundreds of Apex: Legends Players Unable to Connect After "Retrieving Matchmaking List" Problem

At the time of writing this article, hundreds, if not thousands, of Apex: Legends players are unable to connect because of a "Retrieving Matchmaking List" problem.

The issue seems to be widespread, with dozens of users on Twitter suffering from the outage:
