Despite Coronavirus, Kansas Dems More than Triple Turnout After Switching to Voting Through Mail

Despite the coronavirus pandemic and Senator Bernie Sanders dropping out of the race, the turnout in voting for Democrats in Kansas has more than tripled after switching to voting through mail.

According to McClatchy, "As of Monday evening, the party had processed 138,430 ballots compared to a turnout of 39,266 voters in 2016." That's an increase of over 350%.

The switch to mail-voting was made after quarantines were put in place in nearly every state in the nation.

The President, and many Republicans, have come out against voting through the mail. Mr. Trump, for example, stated that Republicans do poorly if people vote this way.
