Biden Sweeps Florida, Arizona, and Illinois Primaries

Former Vice President Joe Biden swept the three primaries held today, defeating Senator Bernie Sanders by double digits in all of them.

The Democrat front-runner, Mr. Biden crushed Mr. Sanders in Florida, defeating him by nearly 40%. In Illinois, the reporting precincts look like they will hand Biden an over 20% victory.

The former Vice President already held a commanding delegate lead in the Democrat primaries before tonight, and this evening's results only serve to solidify his lead.

Ohio was also scheduled to vote today, but its primary was postponed over concerns over the coronavirus pandemic.
