President Donald Trump must turn over his tax returns, a federal appeals court ruled Monday morning.
Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance subpoenaed the President in a criminal investigation for Election Finance felonies related to Trump's payoffs of two women in the run-up to the 2016 election.
The President has repeatedly refused to turn over his returns, nor release them to the public, while also saying he has nothing to hide.
"Any presidential immunity from state criminal process does not extend to investigative steps like the grand jury subpoena at issue here," the court wrote in their decision.
Mr. Trump is likely to appeal this ruling to the Supreme Court in an attempt to keep his finances, and potential crimes, a secret.
