Sondland: Giuliani, Trump Ordered Quid Pro Quo

In devastating testimony given today, Ambassador Gordon Sondland stated that the President himself and his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani directed a quid pro quo with Ukraine.

Amb. Sondland said he now knows that defense funding for Ukraine was conditional. More than that, at the time he was aware that a meeting between the President of the United States and the President of Ukraine was conditional as well.

The condition was that Ukraine had to announce an investigation into the 2016 presidential election and an investigation into the energy company Burisma.

Further, Sondland also stated that the announcement of the investigation was all President Trump wanted, and that an actual investigation did not need to take place.
