A popular Republican talking point is that there is no transparency in the inquiry and there has been no public testimony.
Now, within the week, the transcripts will be released and, on Thursday, the House voted to begin having public testimony.
Yet, Republicans are still using the same arguments, claiming there is no transparency. Rep. Liz Cheney, for example, accused Nancy Pelosi of hiding the transcripts, even after it was announced they would be released in short order.
