Retail Sales Decline in September
Retail sales declined unexpectedly in September, the first time they have fallen in 7 months.
Economists expected sales to increase at a modest .3%; instead they declined .3%.
This is yet another sign of a softening economy, including a recession in US manufacturing driven by President Trump’s tariffs.
Quarter Three GDP numbers have yet to be released, but will give a clearer picture of the US economy.
